A GOODWILL gesture by a city businessman has made Christmas for a victim of vandalism.
Kevin Jenkins, who runs his own business Mr Scuff n' Chip, was dismayed when he read a story in the Worcester News about how Karen Morgan, from Callow End, had her Ford Escort cabriolet scratched while parked in CrownGate car park, causing £400 damage. After reading the story, Mr Jenkins, who set up his own business in July after being made redundant from Brooklyn Ford in Blackpole, contacted the Worcester News to say he would repair the scratches for free. "It seemed like the right thing to do, especially at this time of year," he added. "I still do repair work for Brooklyn and they very kindly let me use the garage to do Karen's car." Miss Morgan said: "What a wonderful gesture." Pictured above is Kevin Jenkins, right, with Andy Waterhouse, from Brooklyn Ford. Picture by Martin Humby. 52100401
