A probe is carrying on into a blaze at the former Westside club.
Flames tore through the building off Hylton Road, St John's.
More than 50 fire fighters tackled the blaze at the empty club after receiving reports that it was on fire at 11.45pm on Thursday, December 21.
Noone was injured in the incident, which police officers are now investigating.
Fire crews from Worcester, Malvern, Droitwich, Pershore, Upton-upon-Severn and Bromsgrove were called to the burning building along with a specialist command support unit, but the club suffered severe damage.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service's divisional officer Paul Amos said: "The fire was pretty well advanced when we arrived and we worked hard to confine it to 50 per cent of the building and prevent it from spreading elsewhere.
"Next door there were some articulated lorries which were at risk but we managed to stop the fire spreading to them." Fire fighters with breathing apparatus took three hours to put out the flames and used water from the nearby River Severn and hydrants.
A member of staff at neighbouring company Porters Transport said he received a phone call at 2am asking him to move three lorries parked in a yard next to the club.
He said the fire was still blazing at that point but his organisation had suffered no damage.
One of the owners of the nearby Sabrina Motors Steve Stanley said he had also received a call to check his business, which had already closed for Christmas. He also said the garage was not affected.
The converted warehouse was once an entertainment venue with bowling alleys, arcade games, snooker tables, function rooms and karaoke stages.
It was sold 12 months ago to a unknown buyer and has remained empty ever since.
Police have appealed for anyone with any information to contact them on 08457 444888 or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
