THE Mayor of Worcester enjoyed a traditional telling of the Nativity story earlier this week. Councillor Ian Imray and his wife Mayoress Joan Imray visited St Peter's Pre-School on Monday to watch the first performance of the youngsters' play. "It was absolutely fantasic," said Coun Imray. "It's great when the kids spot mum and dad and their faces light up and they give them a wave. "I've been to more nativities and carol concerts this year than I've had mince pies and every one has been superb." Pre-school manager Sandy Ditchburn said the children gave two performances to ensure as many parents and grandparents as possible could see the play.
