SCORES for the Chantry High School talent competition were collated yesterday after a packed house watched the annual event. Three panels of staff at the school in Martley marked the competitors.
In first place were dancers Anna Hancock, Sophie Maddocks, Elizabeth Choney, all year 11 and Angelica Choney, year 10, collectively known as Moulin Rouge. In second place were a dance group of year 10 pupils Ellie Berry, Hollie Parks and Helen Jackson. Dancers Lydia Richards, year 9, and Jodie Jacques, year 10, tied with Barry Francis, year 11, on the drums for third place. The event was organized by music teacher Maria Masters and had so many entries they held three sessions to fit everyone in.
