A Christmas extravaganza held in Barnards Green, Malvern, was a great success, according to organisers.
All the green's traders joined in with Saturday's festive fun and games to make the event go with a bang.
"There was a really fantastic Christmas atmosphere," said Hilary Al Rasheed, of Holland Funeral Service, one of the event's main organisers.
Ledbury town crier William Turberfield was specially invited to start the proceedings and there was seasonal music was provided by performers such as Malvern Brass Band, McLean Handbell Ringers, Inner Wheel Singers and Malvern Male Voice Choir.
There were also stalls and games to tempt passers-by and raise money for the League of Friends of Malvern Hospital. A total of £1,780 was raised.
"Everyone took part in it," said Mrs Al Rasheed. "Gaynor Smith Owen had a car boot stall, Lloyds Bank had a tombola, the post office had a competition to guess the number of sweets in the bottle, and Somerfield had a champagne raffle. All the shops made their own contributions."
A clown gave balloons out to the children, and Father Christmas arrived by horse and cart. He set up his grotto at Jane's Flower Box, where youngsters could tell him what presents they would like next week.
