THE Bishop of Worcester helped celebrate the success of a school in its annual prize-giving ceremony.
Dyson Perrins CE High School in Malvern held the evening to show off the achievements of its pupils.
Headteacher David Griffin told the school and its visitors how proud he was of the children's hard work throughout the year, focusing on their sporting achievements, exam results and in the field of mathematics.
Mr Griffin said he also believed getting a good Ofsted report was due to students' "hard work" and the commitment of the teachers.
His speech was followed by one from the bishop, the Rt Rev Dr Peter Selby, who spoke about opportunity.
This was the first time the school held its prize-giving in the evening, and staff were happy more parents were able to attend.
