DETECTIVES have yet to decide whether to search a Worcestershire rubbish tip - where it is suspected a baby's body might have been dumped.
Officers have spent two days consulting forensic experts to determine if they should launch a search of the Hill and Moor site, near Pershore.
Yesterday a spokesman for West Mercia Constabulary said a decision had not yet been reached, but said one was expected by the end of the week.
On Tuesday the Worcester News revealed police sealed off the site on Saturday night following reports that a baby's body might have been disposed of.
Their inquiries began after a teenager being treated at Hereford County Hospital was found to have given birth earlier this month.
The site receives non-recyclable household waste collected from homes across the two counties.
