LOTS of fun, foam and large inflatables have been promised for a crazy competition that will take place at a college in Worcester next year.
It's A Knockout will be making a comeback at the Worcester Sixth Form College to help raise money for Acorns Children's Hospice.
The college, based in Spetchley, held a similar all-day event in June this year which managed to raise around £600 for Leukaemia Care.
But plans are already in place to make next year's event even bigger and better.
Matt Cox, who works in the computing department, is one of the organisers.
He said: "Hopefully it will be better because we have started to organise it earlier and we have a better idea of what we are doing.
"It was the first time we had done it this year and nobody quite knew what to expect, but everybody who took part had a great laugh."
He said that if the day is to be even more successful the college would need the help of businesses in and around Worcester to sponsor teams of 10 to 12 members of staff or students.
"We are hoping it will be of benefit to us, the companies and Acorns," he said.
"It should be excellent."
Inflatable assault courses, a gladiator challenge, a foam pit, and sumo wrestling are all set to feature at the event on Thursday, June 28.
Acorns Children's Hospice, based in Bath Road, Worcester, cares for life-limited children. Mr Cox said that he hopes the day will help to create a community spirit within the college.
"For us it's about having a college-wide event that will unite everybody so we can celebrate the end of the year, and if we can help raise some money for charity at the same time that's great," he said.
