NEIGHBOURS of a Wych-bold teenager have spoken of their relief after she was handed a two-year Anti-Social Behaviour Order (Asbo).
Neighbours of Sophie Cla-rke, aged 14, of Sheldon Close, spoke of how they were virtually prisoners in their home during her reign of terror.
Mark Howard, aged 32, and his partner Kerry Underhill, spoke of their family's ordeal at the hands of Clarke. Mr Howard said: "She would prey on us and made us prisoners in our own house. I've had bricks thrown at my car and our children weren't allowed to play outside for about six months.
"It's brilliant she's got the Asbo - she deserves it."
Miss Underhill, aged 28, added: "She went for my little boy with a golf club."
Another neighbour, 31-year-old Sarah Clougher ad-ded: "I'm absolutely delighted - she's caused us nothing but grief."
Clarke is not allowed to behave in a way likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress or to use threatening words or behaviour following her appearance at Worcester Magistrates Co-urt. She is banned from being intimidating, throwing objects, using a catapult, kicking a football to the annoyance of others and making rude gestures.
The Asbo, imposed on Friday, stops Clarke from communicating with Mr Howard, Miss Underhill and their children, 11-year-old Ashley, nine-year-old Nicky and six-month-old Kacey; Miss Clougher or her children 10-year-old Jade and six-year-old Ieuan; or Jenny Kimber, aged 35, or her 15-year-old daughter Lisa.
She is not allowed to trespass on private property in Sheldon Close or to ride a motorised scooter, bike or other vehicle to harass or distress anyone and cannot associate with Jamie Weatherby or Sophie Pullen in public in Wychbold.
