THIS evening's firework display at Pitchcroft in Worcester is definitely going ahead, a Round Table spokesman said a few minutes ago.
Greg Jones of the group made the statement after your Worcester News was contacted by a member of the public this afternoon, saying there were rumours it was being cancelled because of high winds.
Mr Jones said: "It's definitely going ahead - the wind is not an issue as far as we're concerned."
Once again Worcester Round Table is proud to host their Fantastic Fireworks and Brilliant Bonfire.
All the usual entertainment including a funfair and music stage will be on-tap as well as Free Radio's travelling road show – all with a time-travelling theme.
Gates open 5pm, the fire will be lit at 7pm and fireworks blast off from 8pm.
Adults £5, children £2, family (two adults, two children) £12. Discounts available on tickets purchased in advance. All money raised will go to help good causes in Worcester.
