A CHILD has been airlifted to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car in Hereford.
Crews from West Midlands Ambulance service arrived on the scene in Perseverance Road at around 3.25pm.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the youngster, who was a pedestrian, was treated at the scene for chest and head injuries.
"The boy was fully immobilised and conveyed to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further assessment and specialist treatment," she said.
The road remains closed with police directing traffic.
