Man rescued from burning flat
A MAN had to be rescued from a burning flat in Victoria Road, Malvern, in the early hours of this morning.
The 40-year-old man was pulled from the first floor by firefighters from Malvern and Worcester.
The blaze broke out at 4.28am and two crews from Malvern attended with a third being called from Worcester when it was clear a man was inside the building.
The fire crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue service used two hose reels, a jet and four breathing apparatus to put the fire out.
The man was treated by the ambulance service.
