A MOTORCYCLIST needed CPR after he was seriously injured in a collision with a car this morning.
The accident took place at the junction of the A38 and Church Lane at Wychbold shortly before 8.10am.
West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the incident along with a paramedic area support officer in a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “A Community First Responder who was in the area stopped to help as did a passing firefighter on his way to work.
“They helped the ambulance crew in giving CPR to the motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his thirties or forties and who had suffered a cardiac arrest.
“He was taken on blue lights by land ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.”
The road reopened around 4pm.
