FIREFIGHTERS rescued three people from a car stuck in a flooded ford at Drakes Broughton, near Pershore, earlier this evening.
A crew from Pershore used a special sled during the rescue.
The occupants of the car are believed to be safe, though this has not been confirmed.
Earlier, Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service issued a warning to drivers about the dangers of driving through fords because the recent heavy rain has made them deeper and faster flowing than usual.
Earlier this month a driver and his vehicle were retrieved from a ford at Walcot Lane, Drakes Broughton.
A woman was rescued from the same ford in September when she got into difficulties.
She called 999 herself. A fire engine from Pershore and a boat crew from Worcester rescued her.
She was unharmed.
