A WOMAN had to be cut free from her car after a crash outside a school near Chaddesley Corbett on Saturday evening.
Firefighters from Kidderminster and Bromsgrove and an off-road vehicle from Stourport, along with police and paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and the medical Emergency Response Intervention Team were called to the crash on the A448 near Winterfold House School at about 10.15pm on October 12.
They found the car had left the road and come to a rest on its side against a tree hanging over a stream and the female driver trapped in the vehicle.
Firefighters used winching equipment to stabilise the car before cutting her free. She was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service station commander Steve Fox said: “This was a tricky incident with all blue light services working together”.
