THE festive season of yesteryear, before the days of the Christmas tree, or the Queen's speech, was recreated in Worcester.
Local educational group Discover History was at Tudor House in Friar Street at the weekend bringing to life a festive celebration of the 1580s.
Visitors saw a family prepare for the big day, by hanging greenery, making pomanders and special table decorations moulded into mythical beasts.
