SIR - I am a new member of Worcester Lions and was so pleased to see the Children in Need cash counting photograph in your paper (Worcester News, December 4) but I was very disappointed when I read the write-up.
The council had ample coverage of the huge effort it had made to raise money, Hereford and Worcester Radio had a mention for organising the event but although Worcester Lions gave their time almost every day for two weeks sorting, counting and bagging the money, and although in the photograph four out of six of the people shown were Lions we didn't even get a mention.
You are, I am sure, aware of the good works that the Lions organisation does to help charities and that 100 per cent of the money raised is used to help others.
Carol Lewis, Worcester Lions.
