SIR - Can any Worcester News reader please tell me the month Tony Blair said the following: "Above all, the European Economic Community takes away Britain's freedoms to follow the sort of economical policies we need."
The year was 1982. What month was this please?
In 1983 he said: "Labour will negotiate a withdrawal from the EEC which has drained our natural resources and destroyed jobs."
In 1997 he said: "On the day we remember the legend that St George slayed a dragon to protect England, some would argue that there is another dragon to be slayed: Europe."
In 2005 Tony Blair said: "I'm a passionate pro-European. I always have been."
Can anyone provide me with the months of these statements please?
Jack Kinsman, Grimsby.
