FIREFIGHTERS spent more than two hours overnight tackling a blaze at a caravan sales business near Stourport
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Fire and Rescue Service says 11 caravans and one mobile home at Kidderminster Caravans have been destroyed in the fire.
They were all for sale, meaning nobody was in them at the time.
A fire investigation officer is meeting police at the site this morning to discuss how the blaze may have begun.
The incident happened in Crossway Green, which is on the A449 Worcester to Kidderminster road, not far from Ombersley.
Four fire crews from Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley attended just after 1am and left the scene about 3.30am.
Grant Wills, district commander for fire and rescue in south Worcestershire, said crews were remaining at the scene to dampen down and check the area with thermal imaging cameras.
He said the fire had been prevented from spreading to a nearby home thanks to the "excellent work" of the first crews on the scene.
He praised their "quick thinking" and "hard work".
Mr Wills said fire investigation officers would now work with police to examine the cause of the fire, which is not yet known.
There has been no report of any casualties.
Nobody from Kidderminster Caravans wanted to speak when approached by your Worcester News.
