IT WILL be a nail-biting weekend for fans of X Factor contestant Giles Potter as they learn whether he has made it to the live shows.
The 16-year-old will have to impress the Boys category mentor Louis Walsh and his guests All Saints singer Nicole Appleton Westlife’s Shane Filan and Sinitta in the judges’ houses stage of the competition.
The teenager, from Norton, Worcester, was flown to St Tropez, southern France to perform but viewers will not learn his fate until Sunday evening’s show.
Giles, who also writes his own songs, told your Worcester News he could not reveal anything from judges’ houses.
“People will just have to watch and find out.”
Giles has been popular with the judges particularly Gary Barlow who has championed the Kidderminster College student since the start.
The Take That star had even gone backstage following Giles’ disastrous arena audition to tell him to “wake up” and that he wanted the teenager to go far in the competition.
X Factor will be screened on Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7.10pm.
