A SEVERE weather warning has been issued for Worcestershire for Thursday.
The Met Office is forecasting heavy rain and thunderstorms across the West and East Midlands, Wales, London and the South East, the South West and the North East from 11.41am until midnight on October 3.
In a statement posted on the organisation’s website earlier today chief forecaster Eddy Carroll said: “Expect 15-20mm quite widely during the day with 30-50mm in places and potential for 20mm or more locally in one hour. However, due to the convective nature of the heaviest rainfall, many places in the yellow area will see relatively small totals.”
Flooding is possible in some areas and motorists are advised there may be some disruption to traffic.
