A MAN had his wallet stolen by two men while walking along an alleyway.
The victim was walking down the alley between Pitmaston Road and Winchester Avenue, St John’s, Worcester, when he was approached by two men just before midnight on Wednesday, September 25.
The men put their arms around the man to stop him from leaving and there was a brief struggle during which one of the men took the victim's wallet from his trouser pocket.
They then ran off onto Pitmaston Road and headed towards School Road.
Detective Constable Jon Newton said: “Thankfully, the victim wasn't injured in the robbery and his wallet only contained a very small amount of cash at the time. However, this incident is concerning and we need to find those responsible.
“The offenders are described as two young men in their late teens or early 20s, with one wearing a white hooded top and the other wearing a dark coloured hooded top.
“The victim recalls seeing the pair earlier on his journey home in the area of Great House Road.”
Anyone with information should call the police, quoting incident 4S260913, on the non-emergency number 101.
