ABOUT 60,000 visitors are expected to descend on Malvern’s Three Counties showground over today and tomorrow for Malvern Autumn Show, the annual celebration of the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.
Top chefs will be cooking and there will be a mass array of fruit, produce and giant vegetables, the result of exceptional growing conditions this summer.
Attractions range from an appearance today by Mary Berry, Britain’s favourite baker, to an aerobatics plane display, country pursuits area and Second World War landgirls in a 1940s village hall.
Sharon Gilbert, communications for organisers the Three Counties Agricultural Society, said: “There will also be more than 500 tradestands, so you really can shop till you drop.”
