THIS is the man police want to talk to following an incident of vandalism at a Worcester railway station.

The CCTV image was issued yesterday in a bid to find the person responsible for the damage at Worcester’s Foregate Street station.

The incident took place at 5pm on Saturday, August 17, on platform two when a man, who seemed to be having an argument with someone on his phone, kicked an office door.

PC Carol Dade, of British Transport Police, said the incident had been witnessed by a member of staff who was in the office.

“The incident left the door latch damaged. Security staff at the station confronted the man who left the station after being told he would not be allowed to travel by train.

“I would now like to appeal to anyone who knows the man in this photograph to come forward with information as I believe he will have information which can assist the investigation.”

Anyone with information should call British Transport Police on freefone 0800 405040 or text 61016. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
