A HAIRDRESSING business in Worcester city centre was broken into over the weekend.
The Cutting Rooms, in Reindeer Court, off Mealcheapen Street, was burgled between 5.30pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.
Witnesses saw lights on inside the property at about 8.30pm on Saturday evening.
Police believe entry was gained from Reindeer Court and thieves left via the entrance onto Mealcheapen Street.
They made an untidy search of the hairdressers as well as a beauticians which is also in the property.
Some high-value moisturising creams and petty cash were stolen.
PC Laura Tansell from Worcester Police Station said: “This burglary has seriously disrupted some small businesses and their ability to continue operating.
“I would like to hear from anyone who was in or around Reindeer Court on Saturday evening and saw anything suspicious. I would particularly like to speak to any witnesses who saw anyone out of ordinary leaving Reindeer Court directly onto Mealcheapen Street.”
