A WOMAN has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a newsagents in Stourport-on-Severn.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was arrested yesterday (25) on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
She has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Michael Aldridge, aged 40, of no fixed address, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court last Friday (20) charged with robbery at Taylors Newsagents, Areley Common, on September 15.
He was also charged with threatening the 15-year-old shop assistant with a vegetable knife.
Aldridge was remanded in custody and is due at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, December 30.
