A CAR was thought to be on fire after it crashed into a central reservation injuring the driver in Droitwich.
A fire engine attended the scene on Saltway, in Droitwich, but found the car was not on fire and assisted a casualty which was believed to be a female with a shoulder injury.
The Ambulance Service was called just after 2pm and a rapid response unit attended, but it was unclear whether the victim would need to go to hospital for treatment or not.
The incident happened at around 1.45pm this afternoon near the roundabout off the Worcester Road. The car was cleared and the road was open.
