THE new season of I Will wedding shows got off to a great start with a superb event at St Andrew’s Town Hotel, Droitwich.
More than 100 budding brides and grooms, plus their families and friends, seized the opportunity to stroll around the elegant Georgian building and surrounding gardens which were looking beautiful in the sunshine.
With a host of exhibitors displaying everything from jewellery and photography to catering and music, there was plenty of inspiration for those planning their nuptials. Visitors were also able to investigate the range of wedding facilities and packages at the historic hotel.
First-time exhibitor Julie England, of Candy Creations, Worcester, was especially pleased with the event’s success.
“I thought it was amazing,” she said. “I was so nervous beforehand, but the show was really well-organised and everyone was so friendly. I got lots of inquiries and it was great to be able to chat to people and show them what I do. I loved it.”
The I Will wedding shows – run by the people behind local newspapers such as your Worcester News, Malvern Gazette and Evesham Journal – bring together an array of services under one roof. This means couples and their families and friends can spend a relaxed and enjoyable day collecting ideas and contacts to help create the perfect wedding.
