A WOMAN was rescued from her car when she got into difficulties crossing a ford.
She got into trouble in around half a metre of water at Walcot Lane ford, Pershore at 4.06am this morning and called 999 herself. A fire engine from Pershore and a boat crew from Worcester attended.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “We had three of our water first responders in the water assisting the casualty. A female casualty was rescued by the water first responder crews. She was checked over at the scene by ambulance crews but she had no injuries.” They left the incident just after 5am.
