There are just six days to go until the Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair kicks off, offering opportunities across 13 industry sectors to local jobseekers.

The retail sector is represented by Aldi at the Guildhall next week.

Aldi is a leading supermarket retailer, winner of Grocer of the Year 2013 and Which? Best Supermarket 2013.

Aldi believes that what makes a supermarket is the people and that is why it offers an excellent training programme, realistic opportunities for personal development and highly competitive salaries.

It is a fast-paced, growing company that values its employees – there has never been a better time to join one of its stores.

Aldi is currently recruiting for a number of roles including store managers, assistant store managers and store and stock assistants within a number of stores, and have more stores opening over the next few years.

If someone is hard working, enjoys a friendly productive team to work with and has a passion for customer service, Aldi wants to hear from you.

To find out more about Aldi’s opportunities, meet their staff at the Worcester News Jobs and Careers fair or visit aldirecruitment.co.uk.

There will be a wide range of advice available on the day, including CV tips.

Apps4Jobs.co.uk will be on hand offering free one-to-one advice on how to improve your job applications or CV. Got a job you want to apply for? Haven’t updated your CV for a while?

Then jobseekers are invited to bring along their CV, or job description/application to get top industry tips on how to get an interview.

The Sanctuary Group is also offering free employability sessions to give general advice and guidance on how to apply for a job.

Each session will be a 10- to 15-minute time slot and jobseekers can register for sessions on the day at their stand.
