A PEDESTRIAN walkway has been converted into an al fresco gallery by keen camera club snappers.
The path, from Church Walk to the Waitrose car park in Malvern, has been used to hold an exhibition showcasing the work of the Beacon Camera Club.
The display, entitled Malvern In And Around, is supported by Pulse Great Malvern, the partnership of traders, local councils and other interested parties aimed at breathing new life into the town centre.
Pulse was launched earlier this year with a £10,000 grant from the government to improve footfall in the town centre and this summer has launched new events and initiatives in the town, aimed at attracting both locals and tourists.
The exhibition launch was attended by mayor Julian Roskams, town clerk Richard Chapman and MP Harriett Baldwin, as well as traders and representatives of Pulse.
Each of the 30 images is marked with a QR code, and viewers are encouraged to use their mobile phones to vote for their favourite shots. When the exhibition closes in October, the winning picture will be announced.
