A MAN has been arrested in connection with burgling a school boarding in Bromsgrove.
The man in his 30s, who is from the town, was apprehended by police on Saturday after the break-in at Houseman Hall - the Bromsgrove School sixth form boarding house in Kidderminster Road - overnight between August 26 and 27.
An intruder gained entry into a student’s room by smashing a window with fire extinguisher and opened a trunk, although it was not known what was stolen as the student had returned overseas. A plant room door had also been forced.
The man was released on police bail pending further inquiries.
PC Nicky Gingell of West Mercia Police said: “We would like to thank the media and the public for their help in this case.”
