POLICE are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man from Tenbury Wells who has been missing for two weeks.

Glyn Morris, aged 57, of Berrington Road, was last seen on Monday, August 19, by his brother, with whom he lives, when Glyn left their home saying he was going to workplace training.

He has not been seen since and his brother reported him as missing yesterday. Checks with the local Job Centre show no training was scheduled and they had not seen him since July.

Inspector Phillip Norbury, who is leading the search, said: “Glyn Morris is a well-known face around Tenbury and many people would recognise him if they see him.

“We are worried about Glyn because his disappearance is very out of character: he doesn’t stray far from home other than the local shops in Tenbury and has a set daily routine.

“He lives without many of the acquirements of a modern lifestyle that help us trace missing people. He has no mobile phone, no active bank accounts, no computer, no email and no social media accounts. He has no car and he cycles to get around, but has left his bike at home.

“This means we are relying very much on the public to let us know if they have seen Glyn over the past fortnight, especially in recent days. He may have travelled from Tenbury into nearby towns and cities, such as Ludlow, Leominster, Kidderminster, Worcester and Hereford.”

Mr Morris is white, around 5ft 8ins tall, skinny, has grey eyes, collar-length hair and a beard. When last seen he was wearing a black fleece jacket and possibly a green woolly hat.
