A DAY of music and merriment took place to celebrate a bumper fruit harvest.
Clive’s Fruit Farm, in Upper Hook Road, Upton-upon-Severn, held a Fruit Fest to celebrate a healthy summer haul of apples.
Among a host of groups performing at the event were the Appleyard Dancers, who led a colourful procession to the orchard for a blessing of the apple harvest by the Rev Peter Hughes.
There were also a host of stalls and attractions including apple bobbing and a fairytale trail for youngsters.
Owner Jane Clive said she had received several requests for the celebration to become an annual event.
“Everyone relaxed and enjoyed the singing and dancing and it was a lovely event, with a wonderful atmosphere,” she said.
