A MOTHER and baby were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure after the car they were in left the road at Tibberton, near Worcester.
The accident happened at about noon today on Plough Road, when the car left the road and finished up in a ditch. No other vehicles were thought to be involved.
Emergency services were called, and fire fighters made the vehicle safe, They did not have to free the mum and baby, who were out of the car by the time they arrived.
Neither was thought to be seriously injured, but they were taken to hospital to be checked over.
The road was temporarily closed while the incident was dealt with.
