Multi-car crash on the M5 halts traffic
A MULTI-CAR crash closed three lanes and halted traffic on the M5 northbound.
Seven cars were involved in the incident this afternoon between junction five for Droitwich and junction six for Warndon.
One person sustained a minor injury, but all other drivers were unharmed.
A tailback ran up to junction seven but the cars have now been dragged onto the hard shoulder for police to reopen lanes two and three to ease traffic.
Lane one will remain closed for some time for the safety of the cars and drivers involved in the crash.
Police are investigating the incident.
