A ROAD has reopened after a mother and baby had to be cut from the car they were traveling in after an incident on the A44 near Bromyard.
The woman, believed to be in her 20s, received a slight head injury and was taken to The County Hospital in Hereford for assessment and treatment.
Firefighters had to cut off the roof of the Toyota Yaris to safely remove both the woman and a young child, believed to be 18-months-old who was unharmed.
Police, two ambulances, a paramedic, a rapid response unit and a fire engine were called to the scene at 10.15 this morning two miles from Bredenbury, near Bromyard.
The road was closed while police investigated the scene and was cleared at around 2pm.
