HEADS turned round in Worcester over the weekend when a historic city landmark was the setting for a civil war revival.
The Commandery was the setting for a two days of events commemorating the final battle of the English Civil War, on September 3, 1651, when the Parliamentarians defeated the Royalists.
The story of the Battle of Worcester was brought back to life at the Sidbury landmark on Saturday and Sunday, ahead of the 362nd anniversary of the conflict.
Members of the Battle of Worcester Society and Discover History recreated scenes from the day, including pike drill demonstrations and a musketeers firing display.
Characters from the period revealed the truth behind 17th century life, while a surgeon from the era put his skills to the test.
