VISITORS to an historic country park can try out the latest treasure hunting craze.
Croome Park, near Upton, is holding a geocaching event on Friday.
Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game where participants use GPS-enabled devices to find containers hidden at particular co-ordinates.
The event is suitable for all ages and takes place from 10am-4pm.
Becky Wilks, visitor services assistant at Croome, said: “Geocaching is such a fun activity for families and so addictive. “We have some great caches hidden around our parkland. Children especially love the excitement of finding a cache and seeing if there is a treasure hidden inside.”
