A MAN who was trying to steal two litres of whisky and 18 packets of Nurofen from the Co-Operative store in the Bullring, in St John’s, Worcester, was arrested and released with a caution.
The 21-year-old was apprehended at about 4pm yesterday when he tried to leave the store without paying for the items.
Police said he did try to pay for some toilet roll.
The incident, which spilled out into the street in front of the store, caused minor tailbacks through the area.
