Man asleep on roadside is recovering from too much alcohol
A MAN who is asleep under a tree on the side of the Worcester Road in Malvern Link has been checked by the ambulance service and is recovering from drinking too much alcohol.
The emergency services have been inundated with calls about the man, who is on the side of the road opposite the Malvern Community Hospital.
The ambulance service reported that they attended the man but he had not been taken to hospital.
The police added that he was refusing assistance saying he was not ill but sleeping off the drink.
