Car crash in city centre
A MAN was taken to hospital with head injuries after a car crashed into a signpost outside the Severn View Hotel.
The accident took place just before 3.45pm today on the North Parade in Worcester City Centre.
The car, a Volvo V40, crashed into a signpost on the busy main road as you approach the traffic lights.
There is believed to be lots of congestion in the area as a result of the accident but the road has remained open.
The man was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
