A SCOOTER rider and his pillion passenger were injured in a crash in Hartlebury this morning.
The crash happened on the junction of Summerfield Lane and Stanklyn Lane at about 10.15am this morning.
The driver of the scooter – a man in his 40s – suffered serious head injuries and was immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board before being airlifted to the trauma centre at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
His condition is unknown.
His passenger – a woman also in her 40s – was treated for minor injuries and was taken to Kidderminster Hospital for further assessment.
