A DOG worth £400 has been stolen in a burglary in Stourport.

Police are appealing for information about the incident which happened in Yarranton Close between 9.30pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday (1).

The female bull terrier, which is white and has a brown patch over the eye, was stolen along with its lead and bed, after the front door of the first floor flat was forced open.

Witnesses or anyone with information, including anyone who knows where the dog is now, are asked to contact PC David Louden at West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101.
