RUGBY fans showed their support for both Worcester Warriors and St Richard’s Hospice by taking part in the city’s first Pie and Pint rugby walk.

More than 100 fans enjoyed a five-mile, two-hour stroll from Droitwich Rugby Club to the Sixways stadium in time for the home fixture against Harlequins.

The event was sponsored by the Wealth Group.

St Richard’s fund-raiser Jodi Brandwood said: “We are very pleased with our first walk and hope to have raised about £5,000. “We had a great turnout, everyone enjoyed the route and the weather was most definitely on our side.”
