Hi, I’m Steve Davis, the UKIP candidate for Warndon Parish.
I was born and raised in Worcester, and live in Wardon Villages. I work in manufacturing industry export sales, am married and have a teenage son who is on a vocational course at Worcester Tech I am standing as a UKIP candidate because of the party’s localism agenda. It is the only party really committed to protecting our green open spaces from relentless urban sprawl. I feel major planning developments such as green-field development and the Hartlebury Incinerator should only be allowed to go ahead if the voters are specifically in favour. UKIP feels the voter comes first.
I want us to have decent infrastructure and services, and favour dualling the Southern Link, and building the Norton Parkway, as well as a properly thought-through and executed road repairs and upgrade programme.
With my background in industrial export sales, I believe strongly in encouraging manufacturing industry, and in vocational training and job opportunities for OUR young people. They should not have to struggle for jobs and houses against the virtually limitless supply of immigrants let in by our open-door immigration policy.
Based on information supplied by Steve Davis.
