I feel honoured to have been selected by the Conservative Party to stand as their candidate for Croome following the death of Bob Bullock earlier in the year.
Brought up and educated in Malvern and Worcester I qualified and taught in Birmingham for 12 years where I also ran a Youth Club and worked as a volunteer for Victims Support. The family moved back to the district and my three children all attended local schools and continue to enjoy the sports and leisure facilities provided.
For the past six years I have been a Malvern Hills District Councillor and am now an Executive member with responsibility for Environmental Services.Croome Division enjoys a rural tranquility where economic growth develops through tourism and a variety of independant businesses.Large scale housing development and possible increases to mineral extraction are currently being considered. I would represent the views of local residents to ensure that any changes are managed in such a way as to preserve the unique qualities of the area.
