A MAN was attacked and robbed of his wallet by two men in Redditch.
The victim, who is in his 20s, was standing by his car when he was attacked by two men on Friday, April 10 at about 12.35pm.
He managed to fight back and the two offenders ran off in the direction of Halfords.
At home he realised he had a small slash wound to his side which was thought to have been caused by a sharp object and his wallet was also missing.
The attack happened in the car park of Wickes Building Supplies off the Redditch Ringway.
The two robbers are black, thought to be in their early 20s, slim and both with black, close cropped hair.
One is about 5ft 11ins in height and clean shaven. He was wearing a light blue t-shirt with a red Nike 'tick' and graffiti style writing across the front, grey tracksuit/jogging bottoms and black trainers.
The other man is about 6ft tall, has a distinctive thin goatee beard and a slim face.
He was wearing a black, waist length zip-up jacket with a small mountains logo in white on the chest area.
He was also wearing a dark blue t-shirt, dark blue jeans and a thick, cross linked chain around his neck.
Detective Constable Matt Archer of Redditch CID said: “We are eager to hear from anyone who was in the area midday on Friday and thinks they may have seen these men or the robbery taking place."
