THE Mayor of Worcester has given his backing to a charity’s community consultation.
Councillor Roger Berry and Mayoress Jill Berry attended Worcester Community Trust’s roadshow event, in CrownGate shopping centre, which will help to form part of its planned re-launch later in the year.
Edd Terrey, the trust’s service development manager, said: “We want to assess if people have access to our centres and sessions. If they have, do they think it’s well planned, did they enjoy it and would they do it again? We want to make sure we are offering what people want in our centres.”
The trust is based at Warndon Youth and Community Centre, Shap Drive, and works to help realise the community’s potential and keep community spirit. For details go to worcester communitytrust.org.uk.
