DESPITE the wet and rain children enjoyed some Easter holiday fun at the Green Centre in Worcester yesterday.
Children got up to some arts and crafts in the morning play session at the Dines Green centre and later ventured outside to enjoy some sports. The activity day was part of two weeks of fun which was put on by Worcester City Council, the Worcester Community Trust and Worcester Play Council.
Mark Moloney, who organised the events, said: “The play sessions were really well attended. We have had about 30 kids to each one across the city. They have been playing netball, football, basketball, rugby and other sports, while the play sessions have been more arts and crafts.
“We have had really positive feedback and are looking to hold more sessions in the summer. They started last year and each time we hold them the numbers double.”
